The posts below contain some photos from a trip to San Franciso with my daughter, Sarah, to celebrate her 21st birthday. The two-day trip was more about spending time with Sarah than taking pictures, but I did manage to get a few decent shots – especially during our visits to haight-ashbury and chinatown. Each post contains:

Looking upward in the heart of Chinatown. The angles of the buildings and the lanterns at 14mm was fascinating. The skewed orientation just felt right.

Okay, this is a totally accidental exposure. Not sure exactly how it happened (self-timer), but I had no intention of taking a picture at this moment. Pretty cool, though.

For my daughter’s 21st birthday, I took her to San Francisco for a couple of days. It was more about her than the photos, but I did get a few interesting shots. This is from an Indian shop on Haight Street.
